Preorder Policy

This Preorder Policy applies to purchases of products offered on a preorder basis by Your Christmas Warehouse.

By placing a preorder, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions, Refund and Returns Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy.

1. Nature of Preorders

Preorders relate to products that are not yet in stock or not yet released. Any dates or timeframes provided for availability or dispatch are estimates only and may change without notice due to supplier, manufacturing or logistics factors.

2. Payment

Preorders must be paid in full at the time of ordering, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

3. Cancellations and Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds for change of mind on preorders. Once a preorder is placed, it is considered a firm commitment.

At our sole discretion, we may offer store credit where appropriate. Any such store credit is subject to the terms outlined in our Refund and Returns Policy and does not create an ongoing entitlement to refunds for future preorders.

4. Delays

Delays in supplier delivery, manufacturing or freight do not entitle you to cancel your preorder or receive a refund for change of mind. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from preorder delays.

5. Communication

We may provide updates for significant changes to estimated arrival dates, primarily via email or product page updates. Routine or minor delays may not trigger individual notifications. Customers are responsible for checking product page information for any updated timeframes.

6. Fulfilment and Shipping

Once preorder stock arrives and your order is prepared, it will be shipped in accordance with our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Where an order contains both in-stock and preorder items, we may ship orders in one or multiple consignments at our discretion.

7. Faulty Preordered Products

Preordered items are covered under the same consumer guarantees as regular products. Remedies for faulty products are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy and the Australian Consumer Law.
